Amy Adams was born on August 20, 1974 in Italy. Amy Adams father was stationed overseas in the military. Amy Adams was the middle child of seven children and grew up in Castle Rock Colorado. One of her early jobs was greeter at the Gap. Luckily for us, Amy Adams realized that she wanted to perform. Amy Adams eventually moved to Minnesota and worked at the Chanhassen Dinner Theater, the largest dinner theater in the country. Amy Adams was urged to move to Los Angeles by co-star Kirstie Alley. After numerous TV series and shows, Amy Adams made her big screen debut as a beauty contestant in Drop Dead Gorgeous. Amy Adams has played to her strength as a beautifully naïve woman in two of her most famous movies; as the Candy Striper in Catch Me If You Can (Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Hanks) and as the misplaced princess in Enchanted (Patrick Dempsey). Amy Adams also found success playing strong headed Emilia Earhart in Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian (Ben Stiller). |
