Danny Glover was born on July 22, 1947 in San Francisco, California.
Danny Glover was raised in San Francisco by postal worker parents. At
the age of five, Danny Glover had his first job, a paper route. Both of
Danny Glover's parents were active in working for equal rights with the
National Association for the Advancement of Colored People. Though he
had developed a love of acting in High school, Danny Glover first worked
in several city government jobs before finding acting as his true calling.
Danny Glover's extensive list of films he has starred in spans over three decades
and includes everything from horror movies like Saw (Cary
Elwes) to box office
comedies and action films. Danny Glover had many great movies with deep messages
but he found his fame as the world weary detective Roger Murdaugh in the Lethal
Weapon Series with Mel Gibson. Danny Glover has also played a Colonel in
movies such as Shooter (Mark Wahlberg) and a District Attorney in the Shaggy
Dog (Tim Allen). In recent years, Danny Glover has put his political activism
on display through work on Political Documentaries on the History Channel and a
2010 arrest for trespassing at a peaceful protest at a Maryland food service
company. After being charged with trespassing, Danny Glover was released.
