There have been
several television cartoons that have later been turned into movies. Some of them
stay in cartoon format for the movie (Rugrats) and some move from cartoons
to real actors (Flintstones). It seems like the movies that stay
cartoons are better. None of these movies were hugely successful, but Hollywood
seems bent on putting them out as they have a guaranteed audience. My kids
like the Rugrats movies as well as George of the Jungle. South Park
Movie and Beavis and Butt-Head are cartoons, but are definitely not for
children.
